Good things to know...

  • Bring a yoga mat if you have one.  We have some to lend but sometimes they run out.  If you don't have a mat, start looking around for one, either online or in stores.  It's crucial if you want to be able to practice at home, plus its more hygenic to use your own.  Basic mats can be found very reasonbly priced at discount stores like Ross and Marshalls.  Target has a good selection as well.

  • Wear clothing that is comfortable to move in and bring a sweater or long sleeve shirt to cover up in case it gets cool in the room. 
  • It's best to practice with bare feet.  
  • Avoid wearing heavy fragrances.
  •  
  • In an effort to keep everyone healthy, please do not attend class if you are exhibiting any signs of sickness. 
  •  
  • Try not to eat a heavy meal 1-2 hours before class as having a full stomach can make you somewhat uncomfortable. A light snack is usually okay.
